FBLA Students Advance to National Compet




Students placing in the Top 10 in PA and Advanced to the National Competition:

  • Ellie Schoenbaum:  2nd place in Accounting I (96 competitors)
  • Ashton Byrd, Kelsey McConaghy, and Sara Michelson:  2nd place in Community Service Project (23 competitors)

Help support the National Competitors attending Anaheim, California to represent Palmyra and PA

·       Kauffman’s Chicken BBQ tickets on sale for $7.00; includes ½ Chicken, Baked Potato, and Applesauce; pick-up is at the Palmyra Diary Queen on May 30 from 3-6pm:  Contact Lisa Smith to purchase at lisa_smith@pasd.us

 

Students placing in the Top 10 in PA:

  • Emily Cowfer:  1st place in Current Events (an optional event for students:  not a national qualifying event)
  • Priscilla Fake:  3rd place for Community Service Hours:  She clocked 407.5 hours over this last year!
  • Priscilla Fake, Austin Rupert, and Janessa Zahorchak:  6th place in Website Design
  • Katy Shero, Megan Martin, and Lexi Morgantini:  8th place in Entrepreneurship
  • John Pallone and Ben Wolfe:  8th place in Social Media Campaign
  • Ashton Byrd:  9th place in Current Events (this was an optional event for all students)
  • Spencer Sattazahn:  9th place in Help Desk

Additional Recognition/Awards:

  • Stephen Wargo:  Acceptance to the National Business Education Honor Society
  • Ashton Byrd:  Received the FBLA Future Award
  • Luke Cifuentes:  Received the FBLA Future Award
  • Katy Shero and Kaitlin Repos: Received the Membership Mania and Membership Madness Awards
