Mr. Paul Steigerwald is a graduate from The King’s College in New York with a B.S. degree in Health and Physical Education. He continued his academic career at Temple University, completing a Master’s of Education Degree in Sports Management and Leisure Studies in 1997. A highlight of his graduate program experience included an internship in 1996 at the XXVI Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Steigerwald pursued further studies at Penn State University where he completed his principalship certification in 2000. Recently, he earned his superintendent certificate in the doctoral program at Drexel University in the field of Educational Leadership.
Steigerwald has been committed to a career in the field of education for over 29 years, performing a diversity of roles. He spent the first 10 years of his career in a private school setting of a K-8 facility as a teacher, coach, and director of athletics. For the next three years, he continued his professional endeavors as a high school director of athletics and assistant principal at the secondary school level. For the past 16 years, he has focused his attention solely as an assistant principal at Palmyra Area High School.
